On June 22, 2013, the 20th Seidel Reunion was attended by 69 people. We had 23 people who had never attended a reunion before. Thank you all for coming! We honored those in the family who had attended the previous reunions who are no longer with us. We honored those who have attended every reunion so far. We had some new games. We displayed our veterans board and photos. Thank you to all who brought photos for that. As always, we had some great food thanks to the great cooks in the family. Thank you again for attending.

Kathryn Webb, Sarah Maxwell, and I went on a road trip to visit their cousin, Mary Lou Foster in Arkansas in August. We visited with many photos looked at and have some to share at the next reunion of the Roy Stephen Seidel family.

Alta and Kara Seidel moved in August to Wapapello, MO. They welcome any who would like to visit and enjoy the lake with them.

Florence Dale Hoops passed on Oct. 12, 2013. Dale attended many of the Seidel Reunions with the Ira Seidel family. She will be missed.

Marilyn Seidel celebrated her 80th birthday this fall with a crowd out at their farm. Her children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren attended as well as many other relatives and friends.

Seidel Reunion for 2014 is set for June 21st, 2014 at the Rock Quarry Park House in Columbia, MO. The house is reserved from 9am to 4pm. Mark your calendars.

We will miss Sharon Lewis, wife of Gene Lewis, who passed on June 17, 2014.

Evelyn Herreld passed away on March 22, 2015 at age 75. She was the second born daughter of Bert and Florence Seidel.

 

 

Willard Seidel is a great-grandfather with the birth of Dawson Alexander Seidel in June of 2010. Congratulations to the whole Willard Seidel family!

Ira and Alta Seidel celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Sept. 11th, 2010. They were the recipients of a card shower. Thanks to all of the relatives and friends who sent best wishes to them. Ira Seidel died May 24th, 2011 having read the cards over and over. Thanks.

Mark Seidel, Floyd Seidel's son, celebrated the 2011 Graduation of his eldest child, Emily Seidel from High School. Congratulations, Emily Seidel, Clark High School class of 2011!

18th Seidel Reunion was a smaller group this year, but we still had a good time. New information was on the boards about the area that the Seidel family lived in MA. We had new visitors. We missed those unable to attend.

Harvey Lavern (Vernie) Seidel, youngest son of Harvey and Pearl, died on July 20, 2011. We will miss Uncle Vernie.

Richard Dean Cardin, son of Darlene (Seidel) Cardin died from a truck accident on Dec. 18, 2011. He was 44.

Devin Lee Jones, great-grandson of Sarah Maxwell died in a car accident on May 8, 2012 at age 18.

Seidel Reunion 2012 was very successful with 66 people there. Thanks to all who came. We had 14 people from outside of MO.

20th Seidel Reunion date set for Sat., June 22, 2013. We have a shelter all day and the air conditioned house from 9am to 4pm. Make plans to attend.

Wilma Darlene (Seidel) Cardin died on Dec. 18, 2012. She was Harvey and Pearl Seidel's youngest child. She was 72. Aunt Darlene will be missed.

Paul Edward Harris died on Dec. 19, 2012. Paul was Pearl Seidel's nephew who with his wife, Dortha, faithfully attended the Seidel Reunion when we met in Babler Park near St. Louis. Paul will be missed.
